WHAT IS THE LONG TERM CANCELLATION POLICY?
100% of the cost of the reservation is due at the time of booking.ANY RESERVATIONS THAT ARE 15 CONTINUOUS DAYS OR MORE IN LENGTH ARE 100% NON-REFUNDABLE. By providing a credit card number you are authorizing the resort to bill your credit card for the full amount of the reservation; including but not limited to cost accrued while at the property, outstanding balance is not paid at departure, damages to the property, and any cleanup cost if your site is not cleaned up upon departure, and any other charge referred to herein. Payment for monthly sites is due on or before the 1st of each month. Monthly site rental charges will be charged to the Guest’s credit card on the 1st of each month automatically. If a credit card is declined, it is the Guest’s responsibility to ensure payment is received by management on or before the 1st of the month. Failure to timely make payment is a default of your rental agreement and may result in eviction proceedings against you. If your arrival at the Resort is not at the beginning of the month, the subsequent month will be prorated accordingly to match up with the billing cycle. Background check fees are non-refundable.
WHAT IS THE SHORT TERM CANCELLATION POLICY?
If a reservation is cancelled more than 21 calendar days prior to the arrival date we issue a full refund, minus the non-refundable $50 transaction fee. For a reservation cancelled 21 days or less prior to the arrival date, the full amount of the reservation payment is forfeited to Meadowlark Shores LLC. If a short term, less than 14 continuous days, reservation is cancelled 15 days or more prior to the arrival date we issue a full refund, minus the non-refundable $50 transaction fee. For are reservation cancelled less than 15 days prior to the arrival date, the full amount of the reservation payment is forfeited.
HOW DO I MODIFY OR CHANGE MY RESERVATION?
To modify any reservation (shorten your stay) after you’ve checked in you are required to give a 15-day notice in writing via email. This does not apply for reservations paid in full. Reservations of 30 days or less cannot be shortened. For example: If you have a reservation from Jan 1st – April 1st and you wanted to shorten it to end Feb 1st, you would have to let us know in writing to: manager@meadowlarkshoresrvresort.com no later than Jan 15th. When a guest shortens a reservation, any time less than a full calendar month will be billed at the daily rate on the following billing period. For example: If a reservation is booked from January 1st to April 1st and a 15-day notice is submitted on January 28th then the new checkout date will be adjusted to February 12th. This would result in the 11 nights in February being billed at the daily rate. Daily rates range depending upon site type and season.
